Opening Concert with Antonio Pompa-Baldi

Join us for an inspiring performance by Antonio Pompa-Baldi, including World Premier of Respighi’s Sonata in B minor (piano transcription by A. Pompa-Baldi from the original for violin and piano)

How to Prepare for Competitions

Julie Poklewski will kick off the session with remarks on the necessity of proper preparation for various forms of competition. Mr. Pompa-Baldi will be discussing crucial elements to prepare for competition in a healthy, purposeful, and mindful manner.

Master Class 1

Jury Member Nick Phillips provides an introduction for how to make the most of a Master Class as an observer. Three performers will perform three works each, receiving critical feedback from Mr. Pompa-Baldi.

SJIPC Virtual Happy Hour

Meet the board who make the SJIPC happen! Hear from previous contestants as they share their most “Amazing SJIPC Moments”.

Master Class 2

See the rising stars of the 2021 SJIPC! The virtual recital gives you an extra opportunity to connect with these up and coming performers as we bring the audience and performers together.  Will include a special guest.

Private lessons will take place from August 3 – 6. Each lesson is 45 minutes in length and they are not open for public viewing.
