Throughout the year, the Competition is involved in a variety of events ranging from salon style in-home concerts featuring competition prize winners and other artists from around the world.
Salon Concerts
SJIPC Salon Concerts provide an intimate and unique way to experience live music! Concert venues for this series take place in a variety of concert-ready homes throughout the Bay Area. Performing artists include past prize winners of the San Jose International Piano Competition and other notable contemporary pianists and musicians. These events provide for great networking experiences with fellow music lovers while enjoying appetizers and drinks. Concerts take place throughout the year. Student Recitals
Student Recitals take place throughout the year that allow piano teachers to showcase their students. The Student Recitals are especially valuable for young musicians as there are few opportunities to perform on stage. The recitals take place at various venues throughout the South Bay Area and are free of charge and open to the public. Friends and family members are encouraged to attend Student Recitals to provide support and encouragement.
